General Info and Studio Rules
We renovated and created the space specifically for you and your use as a photographer. The main space is a 300 square foot room with two south-facing windows that let in tons of natural light. There is an attached bathroom with a space for outfit changes between shots. While the studio is located on the second floor of the building, there is a chair lift to help with accessibility. We offer a variety of props including a loveseat, stools, chairs for toddlers/children, backdrops, baskets/props for newborns, and more. Feel free to move furniture around and find anything you may like in the closet, we just ask that you be respectful of our floors and walls, return everything to where you found it, and treat the space as your own.
Rental Time
Weekday appointments are $50 an hour and weekend appointments are priced at $65 an hour. Your time begins and ends promptly with your scheduled appointment. Please be respectful of others time. When booking, book longer than your clients session length to account for set up and take down.
Occupancy
Our studio is approx. 300 sq ft and can comfortably fit 6-8 adults.
Entry and Exit
The address to the studio is 414 E Lincolnway Cheyenne, WY. There is a side door off of E Lincolnway with a door code. Please keep this door shut and locked once inside to prevent anyone else accessing the space. The studio is up the stairs and the first door on the left with another door code. The photographer will receive both door codes via email the day before the scheduled appointment and can let themselves in at the start of their time. Once your time is up, please clean up your space, put things back where you found them, and make sure both doors are locked and lights are turned off on your way out.
Cancellation
All bookings are nonrefundable, however, we understand that things come up. You may reschedule your time once at no extra charge if requested 24 hours before appointment time. Please email us at thelightloftwy@gmail.com. After that, you must rebook and pay for a new slot.
Props and Lighting
We have plenty of furniture and props for you to use! Feel free to move and rearrange as you like, but please be mindful of the floor and walls. Do not stain, tear, or rip the furniture or backdrops. You may also bring your own props/setups. We do not provide any lighting setup, just the natural light! Feel free to bring any lighting equipment or reflectors for your own use. Do not use nails or pins to attach anything to the walls- use putty or command hooks to avoid damage to the paint. Please do not use glitter or confetti. Please let us know if the studio has any damages or is in need of attention or maintenance.
Pets
As an owner of a mini labradoodle ourselves, we understand dogs are apart of your family! Please contact us prior to your session if you are planning on bringing a furry friend.
Cleaning and Damages
We understand accidents or spills happen. There are a few cleaning supplies under the sink in the bathroom- so please clean up after yourself. A fee may be charged for extensive cleaning or damages.
Smoking
No smoking or drug use of any kind is allowed in the studio.
